Hadith 19, 40 Hadith an-Nawawi
On the authority of Abu Abbas Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) who said:
One day I was behind the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) [riding on the same mount] and he said,

O young man, I shall teach you some words [of advice]: Be mindful of Allah and Allah will protect you. Be mindful of Allah and you will find Him in front of you. If you ask, then ask Allah [alone]; and if you seek help, then seek help from Allah [alone]. And know that if the nation were to gather together to benefit you with anything, they would not benefit you except with what Allah had already prescribed for you. And if they were to gather together to harm you with anything, they would not harm you except with what Allah had already prescribed against you. The pens have been lifted and the pages have dried.

It was related by at-Tirmidhi, who said it was a good and sound hadeeth. Another narration, other than that of Tirmidhi, reads: Be mindful of Allah, and you will find Him in front of you. Recognize and acknowledge Allah in times of ease and prosperity, and He will remember you in times of adversity. And know that what has passed you by [and you have failed to attain] was not going to befall you, and what has befallen you was not going to pass you by. And know that victory comes with patience, relief with affliction, and hardship with ease.

@Homerlilian objectively- if you read my posts do you think I have more in common in terms of how I think with a Muslim from a Muslim country or an atheist from my own ethnicity? It is not something I imagine but it's an objective reality that how I think is much closer to a Muslim from another part of the world than a non Muslim who has the same ethnicity as me.

Judging by your post obviously you share your ideals more with muslims from another part of the world . If you didn’t I would have called you out on it long time ago although there certain things I believe you’re extreme in like the issue with Shias and having alliance with them especially during these trivial times with the ummah.

Imam Bukhari said: "I don’t see any difference between praying Salah behind a Jahmi or a (Shia) Rafidhi and a Christian or a Jew." (Khalq Af’aalul-’Ibaad, p.14)

What Imam Bukhari said pretty much sums up how I see the Shia. I don't really see them as much different than Jews or Christians.

As far as current events, the Jews are mass killing Muslims in Palestine, the Shia were/are killing Muslims in Yemen, Syria and Iraq. To me they're pretty much the same.

People want to unite with Shia because of Palestine. I'm against the Zionist state but I don't think Iran is ever going to free Palestine or even seriously try to.

Given that Imam Bukhari seems to have considered them as kaffirs, I assume they must have already adopted distinct Shia religious views. I'm not sure how they compare to the Shia of our time. I think the Shia of our time are worse because I think they got further astray over time and added even more kufr beliefs- but I'm not 100% for sure.

Yemen is less sectarian and more along tribal & regional lines. There are Sunni tribes allied with the Houthi movement.

I do agree that there is indeed an Iranian Twelver agenda to dominate Iraq & Syria. Hence why even today Sunnis are persecuted in Iraq and to a lesser extent Syria. Although Syria’s situation is less severe due to Assad being a Nusayri and dealing with majority Sunni population. There’s is clear cut discrimination and ethnic cleansing against Sunnis in Iraq tho.

Politics is about common interests and the only nation that is in the way of Palestine being free is the United States where you currently live & pay taxes too :hemad:

I don't control where I was born or what the government does.
You don’t have Nexican citizenship? Last I checked Mexico isn’t providing financial, military aid to Israel nor giving the Israelis diplomatic cover. Folks like you are all talk no action. Renounce your US citizenship & move to Mexico.
