You do realize that college and pro level track athlete literally started training when they were kids right??

We definitely have some athletic freaks amongst us. Most of them were just raised by useless parents.

There is a somali sprinter from Holland who ran almost under 10s or even under, he used to post on tiktok.

Athletic guys exist, but unfortunately somali guys love to sit on their asses. Don’t blame the parents. I know guys who were built like tanks just waste their potential.

When I was growing up the Somali parents put their kids into Soccer and Basketball at a young age. But by the time these kids reached HS they didnt wanna do it anymore Lol. How do you motivate your kids to keep pursuing sports idrk. Like some of these kids were playing in Soccer allstars and just stopped.

I remember the local soccer youth league had so many Somali kids both girls and boys when I was growing up but by the time I reached 15 it was so dead. But apparently I've realized an overall trend, not only with Somali families, but a lot of these kids barely do organized sports anymore or even go outside its crazy they just stay at home.

You can't make it to the pros unless you start training properly at a young age. All these athletic niggas you speak of essentially got their genes wasted.

What country do you live in ??

In america plenty of Somali men were interested in becoming basketball players. Most of these hoopers never got the opportunity to try out for their school teams.

Our youth sports development pipelines are connected to our public school systems. We could have had way more NBA prospects if more Somali kids were allowed to compete in school.

Are we sure this guy is 16? He seems to already be balding and looks hella old
He's 16. It's just his hairline that's making him look 30

Canada. Compared to America our sports culture is dead especially in HS. Middle school it was pretty alive when it came to volleyball.

Somalis need to diversify sports-wise. Follow the cadaan rule of putting your kids into every sport and seeing what sticks.

It’s never good to do the same sport again and again for years on end you’re just overworking the same muscles and increasing your risk of injury down the line. Do different sports that train different muscles, the other aspects that you learn (hand-eye coordination, timing, reflexes, footwork) will always help you in other sports and later on in life generally.

parents gotta understand the society they live in when having kids man. how you naming your kid a name that means a illness in english? youre setting up your kid to get bullied.

Probably named after his grand-father or great grand-father; they (the mainstream) can make all the jokes they want, but the ancestors must be honored
