There is fear and confusion in the Twin Cities' Somali community. President Trump's recent executive order suspends immigration and much travel from seven countries, including Somalia.

Monday, KSTP learned about 200 Somali refugees heading to the country for resettlement have been told they cannot travel as a result of the order.

A Minneapolis woman says her young daughter is stranded in Uganda. Samira Dahir of Minneapolis says her four-year-old daughter is stranded in Uganda. Uganda is not one of the countries named in the executive order, but the Uganda government told Dahir because of the travel order her daughter can't leave.

"I want to get my daughter to come here," Dahir said. "I don't want to lose my daughter."
