21 billion cubic meters= 21 cubic km of natural gas. That is roughly how much Kuwait or Kazakhstan produce in 1 year. It is an important find for local use in power generation and cooking, but it is probably not worth building an LNG export terminal and pipelines for.

DDSI likely contains much gas than this. This is the tip of the iceberg.

This is Africa. No one cares about the resource curse people live for today and not tomorrow. What I am more worried about is how Ethiopia will respond. Will they cooperate with the natives and spread the wealth around? I don't think so.
