24 Somalis repatriated from Tunisia

@berberaboy66 how are the economic conditions like in waqooyi for the youth
Effects of mass urbanisation. We got a bunch of sleepy villages no economic activity, people leave the miyi now, can’t afford to live in the city yet can’t go back home to miyi.

This isn’t an SL thing it’s Waqooyi in general lots of people from dhirdhaba Djibouti Borama. Most people can’t tell the difference between accents up north so they just assume.

Distance plays a factor too I think. Easier to go to Ethiopia and follow their route than go to Eastleigh

Yep. Apparently thousands of somalis fleeing to other parts of Africa on a regular basis is “better” than a hundred getting caught in libya every year.

Tahriib is tahriib wherever you go, it’s all the same. Just depopulation of your tribal homelands

it’s time to teach people how to farm and source their own food it’ll be hard since a lot of land is pretty harsh but we can work with what we got!!!
Will your uncle HSM force you back to lower shabelle to farm?

Food isn’t the issue, it’s work, making money. Making enough money to live comfortably. Economic development in other words.
There’s a lot of food insecurity though obviously they need work but we’ve got to feed the people who rarely have a meal a lot of people are stuck in poverty with their babies they need help obviously I’m not a politician so I can’t make this happen but it’s just a thought.

Gaajo in Somalia happens due to political machinations, it’s not minAllahi or something that occurs out of the blue, when people in Gedo or SWS begin starving it’s because someone in xamar is not happy with their leaders or someone in xamar has been eating their aid money or withholding it and selling it elsewhere.

if the leaders in xamar didn’t steal the aid money or development money war marked for these far flung provincial areas, starvation wouldn’t even be an issue, if they didn’t politically punish the leaders in Luuq or Gedo by withholding that aid, then starvation wouldn’t be an issue.

that’s why I say, once this starvation tactic stops being used, the issue will then become economic advancement, work, houses, money etc.

This is true but that isn’t only why food insecurity exists same thing happens in Ethiopia Eritrea and parts of Kenya. The climate also happens to affect the already dire situation I think everything’s calmed down now but due to climate change it’s bound to happen.Somalia is corrupt it’ll be corrupt forever until people get rid of the entire system that puts us down and also get rid of the mindset a lot of people have.

Climate change is a load of nonsense people always try use these broad definitions and formulate complex arguments for simple issues, it’s plain moral degradation and corruption which has led to this.
