Most couples who divorce don't get divorced because of domestic issues but some other silly stuff that can easily be solved.. Also some women are very irrational and can't think in long term strategy during decision making processes.. Also add the strong and independent woman narrative to the mix and you have the formula for broken homes and single motherhood.

I know most Somali couples get divorced over some trivial stuff.. Domestic violence is not a big issue in Somali homes.. Not saying it doesn't exist.. But seriously most of the time people get divorced over money/poor economy management.

Facts. Most divorces that women initiate are out of Borden.
Couple of reasons. 1) generally men benefit more from marriage then women. Married men live longer and comfortable lives compare to single men and the opposite is true for women. Also in most marriages, most of the work and stress falls on the women. And 2) on avg men don’t react emotionally, so are able to rationalize problems and take them as trivial even when it’s a huge issue to their wives.
