A bright idea for our diaspora MN community

I was inspired while watching this video and thought I'd share. It is a shopping mall on the first floor, with apartments on the 2nd.
I thought why not have one for our MN somali community by buying one of those huge shopping malls that are shutting down and renovate it.

1st floor / Main floor can have
1) A common area for people to sit together and chat (separate areas for women and men). Could also have an outdoor garden area in the back of the building
2) A somali daycare with somali staff for children
3) A clinic with somali healthcare professionals. Possible have nurses travel to untis for elders who can't come down.
4) Somali restaurant
5) Somali clothing stores
6) Somali grocery stores / halal stores
8) A small prayer hall - possibly have somali dugsi macliins teach children while prayers aren't happening
9) Elevator / ramps for those on wheelchair

2nd floor + 3rd floor
1) Apartments - bigger than those in the video
2) A sitting area - if the 1st floor is too full with all the other things.
3) Laundry room / hall
4) Fitness center (with somali coaches)
5) A cooking hall only for residents. In the video, due to safety law code, resident were not able to have open flames - can have electric stoves. This could be a solution

Somalis are naturally low-trust people, hence the fortified walls and barbwire on every house back home. So, I'm struggling to understand why this would be a good idea.

I can’t see the appeal for the males, but i can see why it’s an attractive proposition to the women. They don’t have to go far to shop and they’re a stones toss away from important amenities.

Where are we gonna get the money for this project?

Crowd funding and investors.

Crow funding you can pitch to Somalis pay 50 dollars each into a fun and it will collectively add up to several millions.

Then a second part is to find investors especially big business owners or corporations and you pitch them a return on investment or stake in the mall.
