A group of MPs put forward a motion to impeach Farmaajo

I'm conflicted. On one hand, this stinks of foreign meddling, and there's no known candidate who could be less bad than Faarmajo. However, on the other hand, Faarmajo was getting waaaay to close with Ethiopia, doing one-sided, unilateral deals with them. Any day I fear that he'll give them access to a port he actually controls, and giving their troops full access to the sea with a navy.

It is nothing personal. Farmaajo is dealing with all the mamuul goboleeds. He neutralized Hiirshabeele & Galmudug, now pacifying South West and also closed many doors from
Somaliland region. He also has plans for Ahmed Madoobe of Jubbaland.

farmaajo thinks he is his uncle Siad but he’s not close.
It’s funny once you realize with all the tension between Farmaajo - SWS and the tension between Farmaajo - PL and also the tension between farmaajo - JL it’s safe to say Somaliland is the last thing on his mind. He needs to get his own house in order first he would look completely ridiculous in the eyes of the world trying to start conflict against a autonomous region like SL when other regions that are suppose to be under government control are not listening themselves. There’s actually a greater chance farmaajo will be kicked to the curb long before he can get to the very past step in his manifesto which is waging war against SL

This has the finger prints of foriegn interference, they are well aware of the fact that for the first time in almost 30 years, the country is heading in the right direction. Ofcourse not everyone is happy and some for the right reasons. The government has made multiple errors and should take responsibility in order to learn from those mistakes. I believe in this dowlad and I reach out to all my brothers and sisters to be patient. Remember we are all in this together, a failure dowlad means major setback for everyone. I pray that we continue to succeed as a nation and this incident brings us even closer.

America Federal/State relationship is not that simple. Federal will always be stronger because the constitution says so it’s the supremacy clause the feds are the law of the land. The states have the right to make and pass laws outside of what’s outlined in the constitution. They are not allowed to pass laws in contradiction with federal law but they still do. Federally marijuana is illegal but on the state level it’s legal in over 23 states medicinally and 10 states plus DC recreationally. The system in America is way to complex to be compared to low IQ skinny’s who think on clan level when it comes to politics

You're right but federal govt of Somalia can't collect taxes in it's capital. Raise a army or make laws that are arried through out the country. That's why we need a stronger more central govt. We have two choices we balkanize or give up some of our rights as a federal states.

It didnt work in the beginning it was very divided and tumultuous nation by the time federal and state powers were clearly divided and checks and balances were agreed upon 60 or 70 years later the US population was 40 million people that were a mix of urbanites,sedentary and a lot of well educated people it made sense for them this bullshit federalism doesnt make sense for us 15 million homogeneous,uneducated nomadic people its sheer stupidity

Those are two good options but you have to remember there’s a large demographic that benefit and thrive off the instability and want the status quo to remain the same. Those people might prevent either option I suspect by stopping the possibility of Balkanization while trying to elevate federal states to be on same level as Mogadishu. These federal states don’t truly want to be without Mogadishu too much money flows there what they want is a better seat at the table. They might not want to give up their rights instead they want to gain more. Mogadishu doesn’t want that. Balkanization is a more likely outcome than federal states giving up some of their rights to me it looks like Puntland and Jubbaland want more rights not less.
