The political spectrum in Germany is far to the left compared to America and the UK.

Their only two viable options: A) a leftwing globalist B) a centrist globalist. Massive difference to what just happened in the US (rightwinger vs an extreme rightwinger).

It's this guy: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin_Schulz

His last name tells me he belongs to a certain ethnicity... :siilaanyolaugh:

AfD is heading for good results though. The recent terrorist attacks and refugee crisis has helped their cause tremendously. But I don't think they will gain power.

The Netherlands on the hand is right on the political spectrum and it has been now for a decade. Geert Wilders is polled to be the biggest party but he most likely will be in the opposition since no other parties want to rule with him per usual.

So Netherlands is stuck with another 4 years of neoliberal economic policies. Though, some of the policies have positively worked out for the country but it could be despite of it because economics is not an exact science. From the looks of it, the left will never gain power in that country.

It's not uncommon that the left are losing everywhere. If they want to gain power again, they should be honest about immigration and the EU and undo the damages of austerity.

He's a Catholic

His name is an original German one. The Jews simply stole and made up surnames in the medieval times, often Germanic ones

I know a "Schultz" and he is a Christian Lebanese. I don't know how that happened. I'll probably ask him the next time we talk.

I hope the right wing parties win big in the next election

Social Democrats + Green cucks + Far-Left cucks already have a majority (seats).

Most of the AfD support comes from dissatisfied CDU voters. Ironically helping the left even more.

It's possible for lefty voters to go very right wing over immigration issues.

The Green party in Germany is way too large.

How come European parties go into coalitions if the largest party didn't get the majority of the seats?

Coalition governments are never seen here. The party who wins the most seats in a minority situation will rule until they are toppled in a no confidence vote.

Anglo systems usually go by districts. So if you live in a redneck area and you are liberal you basically are disenfranchised. In Europe it usually goes by one-man-one-vote.

What is Germany's tax rates likes? What makes them competitive? They have a low unemployment rate and always seem to be doing well. Exporting nation with the Euro currency. I believe they are the second largest exporters but they got quality brands.

It's the same as the rest of Northern Europe. Highish, but not so extreme as the Scandinavians, but living costs in DE are very low (low food prices from all that stuff from Southern and Eastern Europe) and rents are very low. Germans have a higher standard living than the UK, yet so few Somalis.

The candidacy of Martin Schulz has become a game changer. Just few weeks ago, according to the polls, the AfD were to become the biggest. Merkel had to appease the islamophobes by introducing anti-muslim bills like ban on the niqab. At least people have an option other than choosing between a far-right and a centrum rightwinger. Merkel can easily beat him though, she's the modern day Helmut Kohl.
