1. No the Somali peninsula isn't big enough for us in terms of resources such as freshwater, fertile land. So we need eachother to secure our survival in the coming decades when climate change hits us hard.

2. The other problem you guys can't see it is there's several Clans in Somalia who also have big population and land and they'll also demand for secession.

Any territory outside of Somaliland must come under some kind of colonial arrangment. The rest of Somalia would be known as Somaliland Somaliland (the land of Somalis belonging to Somaliland). In so far as expanding the borders and adding citizens to our democratic state I am firmly against such measures. In any case it is not a priority or even a consideration at this time.
