If you wanna maintain the spiritual gains that you'll Inshallah benefit from performing Ummrah you have to cut out any potential negative influences in your life when you get back home. I began speaking to some cadaan guy I met on the plane back after he saw me failing at who wants to be a millionaire. Wallah with his help I won the game multiple times his general knowledge was amazing. Anyway he asked where I was coming from and after I told him Saudi he said to me with a smile, you'll go back to being your old self soon enough, your surroundings make you. This is after I told him I wanna maintain my prayers, try to be a good muslim etc etc. He pissed me off I remember thinking f*ck this guy, what does he know? I'll prove him wrong. But he was right. I was able to fight it for months but eventually I fell into the old habits I wanted to avoid. I've seen this happen to others too, you can't fight bad influences forvever. Just some friendly advice.
