I wonder what will happen next once this clan federalism stuff inevitably fails. I'm guessing balkanization. Much like Yugoslavia.

Of course, once that is done, we'll be weaker and more susceptible to foreign domination over us. Something we are already getting a taste of today. It's funny how while other countries seek to expand we seek the exact opposite.

The only solution is a proper federation between somalia &somaliland it will solve the clan political battles unfortunately south somalia especially darood politician would not accept it

Since independence they have used 4.5 look what it did, it lead to military dictatorship which made the situation explosive people tend to forget a president was murdered because of clan dispute exploited by siad barre. So after the civil what do they do, they set up the 4.5 system again . If somalia follows the Tanzania method where the federation is between two separate states Tanganyika& zanziber it would change the whole politics ethos of somalia from being which clan is the president to is the president from north or south

We don’t need that shit. Somalia is a burden on us. We have hargeisa and berbera we can build a great nation.
