Why on earth dont they hire guards?
4 Alshabab, one suicided himself and only 3 are left. 2 were taken out by galal, who had a pistol. A hotel security agency in Somalia would be a perfect buisness oppurtunity. These Alshabab are getting desperate they dont have vehicle explosions anymore and rely on suicide bombing.
Also NISA found out about an attack and warned all personnel, thats why indacade was absent from the meeting.

They do have guards. The problem is Somalia is gaajo, therefore cannot have the level of security as Halane. The more important question is why doesn't SL and PL have these problems when the security personnel is not better equipped nor have better training.
I think it's a combination of Mogadishu being the capital, huge population and some sort of sympathy among the population due to injustice because it is very diverse in clan, all these combined with a weak state is recipe for disaster which AS exploits to their advantage. I don't think introducing more mercenaries into this will help.
Staments like the one by Afrik Hotel is very good rebuke and sends a strong message of resilience in the face of these hardships. It is a message of hope and rebuilding against those who want us to be hopeless and miserable.

That's pretty despicable thing to say. He was killed by AS, they are known to send people close to you for assassination.

Stop blaming a whole clan for the beef of some men and terrorists. These kinds of fighting happens everywhere in Somalia and AS is always waiting to take advantage for their wicked agenda.
You blamed, Hawie, HG, Cayr and Ayaanle. That is millions of people you blamed except for the terrorists.
Why do you think I hate Cayr ? I am simply stating facts, they are the clan that works most with the islamist group.
AS have people from every clan, why are you trying to pin it on specific clan and demonise them when the attack happened on people from that clan. It doesn't even make sense, people from that clan are attacked and you're blaming the whole people of that clan.
People from the same clan do kill each other, infact that is the default, its rare two different clan kill each other, we just hear about it more on the news.
I know they do, that's why I said AS take advantage of this and that's why it's ridiculous to blame a whole clan for the actions of AS when in fact they have people from every clan to do their bidding. I also said they send people from your clan to assassinate you. That's why it doesn't make sense to blame a whole clan for the actions of AS.
