Somali food is good and is now somewhat well known. I have random co-workers asking me about it, and theyre from areas with no/very little Somalis so idk how they found about it. If I had capital, I'd open a Somali restaraunt. There's 1 or 2 in my current city but they suffer from the typical defcenficies---rude very bad service, crappy interiors---although their food is ok.

I love it too but only Somalis will order it unless it becomes more known. Let me think, dried sliced camel/beef meat in flat bread. It might work as breakfast but preparing it fresh takes time.

If you store oodkac in oil with spice it will last for weeks no need to prepare them everyday.

Since I came back, I had it for 1 1/2 week consecutively, to the point where the guy makes it ready beforehand. It became disgusting after a week and when I started to hate it, i stopped since Kebab is my life!

The trick is not to eat it consecutively. I only get it a few times every couple of month's. If you just gorge yourself you'll hate it and you won't be able to appreciate the joys of kebab anymore also it's just not healthy.

I learnt this from when I use to stuff myself with wings and chips after a whole it was disgusting.
