The federal government of Somalia has in a press statement on Thursday endorsed Saudi Arabia’s decision to serve the pilgrims this year 2016 for their visit in the sacred places in Saudi Arabia.

The government of Somalia has urged the Republic of Iran to support the decision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which is widely supported by the Muslim countries in the world.

The Somali government has also added that the organizing the wellbeing of the pilgrim is duty and responsibility upon the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the government has as well said that they fully agree the unanimous decision reached by the Islamic relation commission.

The Somali government has strongly opposed a plan in which the Islamic Republic of Iran is meddling in the pilgrim affairs, likely Somalia says that Iran is intending to prevent the pilgrims to perform their pilgrim duties. .

Finally the Somali government has said that all Muslims performing their pilgrim duties to respect the sacred places and to avoid anything that can bring suspicion.
