The KDF has been holding that town for nearly 7 years merely an hour after they vacated their base al Shabab took over if it weren't for AMISOM Gedo would become another middle jubba if Ethiopia leaves their base in Baardheere tomorrow the power vacuum would be filled by AS.

In fact, much of the interior of Gedo would fall if AMISOM withdraws. Where is the SNA and local clan militia of Gedo al shabab wouldn't seize the town if they were challenged shows much of Gedo hasn't been pacified, it is still an hotbed for terrorism

Exactly this current administration don't understand that they are our enemies. I would rather have our own army trained to a professional standard and prioritised than my own enemies in my back yard.
