This is major news and will likely have a cascading effect, every day that passes the gunimo of HSM becomes worse, you can come from the most powerful clan of the city, but if the people don't want you, your toast, even his own sub-clan didn't care about him

What a contrast to AbdiQasim whom insulted all the warlords especially Qeybdiid/Ceydiid in a Mogadishu infested with 13 warlords, yet stayed there peacefully with his government protected by his own sub-clan militia's, despite the heavy siege by Ethiopia/Kenya and the warlords.

The rumours in Xamar was that al-shabab members were joining in the celebrations, I thought this was exaggerated but I kept hearing it again and again.

Makes perfect sense, much of the Al-shabab hardcore fanatics were murursade all pro Farmaajo campaigning for them

The only thing I was confused about was how the day before the election, there was numerous explosions, but ever since Farmaajo has been elected, the city has been quite. This would have been a major opportunity to format some type of attack, but silence. Perhaps you were right about the Ethiopian led A.S brigade.

Just what I was thinking. The other faction is nothing but an Ethiopian outfit masquerading as an Islamist rebel group.

There was a famous falling out over this, the sensible group said let's learn how to crawl first before we run, let's first control Somalia.

The other group getting money from CIA/GCC/TPLF rejected and wanted only Global Jihad which fits their narratives of destruction.

I remember going on an Al Shabab twitter account I think it was a white revert and they killed him because apparently he started speaking out against them and calling them qabilists/somaliland agents or something along those lines. I think there was a huge divide among them.

Here is the guy that Godane killed, he was after Roobow as well after his tribalistic visions and Ethiopian/Somali-land collision was exposed, he regularly visited Hargaisa to make love to his numerous wife's, the locals there regularly boasted about this.

This does not look good. Farmaajo's stance on Al-Shabab is not good. Their leaders are supposed to be executed and anyone else in the organization should be arrested.
