Ali H Warsame: PL militias facilitated AS raid

AS raid was facilitated by Puntland militias who had recently defected from AS. More evidence PL admin works hand in glove with the terrorists and is actively recruiting 'ex' Shabab members.

AUN to all those who died; this attack should serve as a wake up call for them to stop funding and supporting terror activities in Somalia.

Plausible is not good enough
Ali Haji is a former presidental candidate and ex-Puntland Education minister, what he is saying is highly plausible.
The reason I posted this topic, is the simple fact that it corroborates a suggestion mentioned on this forum that there is a mole within Puntland forces that gave Shabab intel.

Al shabab does that all across somalia but only in Puntland it's orchestrated by the puntland government? :wtf:
AS in South Somalia has a large amount of fighters and heavy weaponry, AS in PL doesn't.
Comparing them is like comparing apples and oranges.

True, AS's strength varies in each region but this attack falls in line with their usual Ramadan offensive

AS and ISIS in PL combined are estimated to be no more than 300 fighters; it is not possible for them to carry out an attack of this scale without any inside intel.
According to Reuters, which interviewed one of Mumin’s men, just 20 jihadists out of the 300 located in the Galgala hills of Puntland, where Mumin was based, have joined the Islamic State. According to SITE Intelligence Group, the Shahada News Agency, a pro-jihadist media group that reports on Somalia, has confirmed these figures based on “independent sources.”

It's reasonable to assume a third of that could inflict that damage. These guys use the element of surprise to their advantage in the field. It's a reach to assume the PL gov't would orchestrate this
:comeon:AS in galgala do not have access to technicals and other medium/heavy weaponry; that attack could have easily been prevented.

The only logical answer for AS overrunning a base with 200+ PL forces, is the explanation given by Ali Haji Warsame that AS infiltrated the base/town prior to the attack.

Ali xaji anti gas+ ex terrorist itihad member. Once a terrorist always a terrorist.

Itihad terrorist organization - that was wiped out by the former president and the founding father of Puntland Colonel Cabdulahi Yusuf Aun.

A remote base near the galgala mountain isn't going to be well fortified and He's just speculating. His word is the same as you and me. You have to wait for more sources within the government to collaborate this conspiracy theory
