How did the encroachment of Somalis began in the 16th century, when the Adal sultanate came about in the 15 century and Somalis constituted key parts of the ruling empire?

The Oromo part is correct though, as they settled there later.

There are so much documented evidence from hundreds of years back, of Somali presence in the north, to debunk this. These people are lost.
