I’m curious what the American muslim sentiment is given this election will decide the politics of the 2026 and 2028, particularly with regards to Zionism

Why? Voting is how you ensure your interests are served. This a tight election where a 100,000 votes will decide everything
What interests? Neither candidate represents my interests. So why vote?

The candidate themselves do not serve your interests but the outcome of the election certainly does. It’s a vote for what interests will be prioritised come the 2028 election not what will happen in the short term. (Also I think there are 3 candidates here; Jill stein)

If Kamala loses, particularly if it happens because of the same “abandon Biden” vote, the narrative will be that Kamala lost because of her support of Zionism and for the first time support of Israel will be a political liability. Dems in 2026 and 2028 will rethink their support of Zionism instead of holding this weird middle ground where they call for a ceasefire as PR and supply weapons too.

If Kamala wins, then support for Zionism will continue and the pro-Palestine vote will be not be seen as notable voter base that affects elections and the invincibility of the Zionist lobby will be affirmed.

If Jill stein wins (gets 5% of the national vote which allows her party to get state and federal funding; she had 1% last election), the narrative in the news will be that the support of Zionism broke the two party system and it’s a political liability and if you support Zionism you might lose your seat. That’s why the dems where suing her all over the country in places like New Hampshire etc.

There’s a lot more riding on this election than just Trump and Harris .

Definitely Kamala considering the US will have friendlier relations with Iran and not escalate the israeli conflict east into a regional war, however I truly do despise how she ran her campaign entirely on abortion for a good month or so

I really may not even vote due to understand the 13 electoral college truly choose who's gone be president. Trump and the Jamaican have the same chance with my vote deciding who's gone be president if I used my xaar to pick which one they'd like :silanyolaugh: . If we are talking logically and truthful :fittytousand:.

Now imagine if my voters ticket is underneath

Most somalis live in Minnesota which has a 99% chance of going to the Democrats.

The election will be decided in Pennsylvania. Whoever wins that state will most likely become president.

Who wins this election means very little (at least for a Muslim on the outside) but what matters a lot is who loses and the manner they lose in. I’m hoping this election is a referendum on the Harris Biden’s handling of Gaza and Zionism and it would be a strategic win if they lose because of that referendum. Jill stein getting 5% would be best case scenario on top of that.
