After Al Shabaab killed 40 SNA the other day I totally changed my mind on AMISOM. I want them to stay for as long as it takes.

lets be pragmatic,there are groups are are hell bent on spoiling any attempt to form federal army to replace,AMisom leaving is not solution,ethiopia left 2009 where were the somali troops to replace them,as long as alshabab dogs are there AMISOM will continue to function the only way possible is if UN diverts the money to somalia viable army.plus who needs army ethiopia has high stake and will never allow such army at her borders,it is better to be client state.

Inabti we should give credit where it is due. If tomorrow AMISOM leaves, guess who will sneak back in? Al shabab. There is
no trained disciplined Somali army in the south to keep the peace, so that is why outsiders are needed at the moment. If and when
the SNA is built properly then it is possible that the void can be filled.

They had 9 years to produce results. The malnourished SNA soldiers have killed more al-shabaab than AMISOM. They aren't getting their hands dirty for us, why would they? If you can't sort out your own shit, nobody is going to clean it up for you. Our only hope is an organised and strong Somali army, but like you said we have too many enemies who will interfere with that goal. It's never better to live in servitude, I'd rather men and women sign up for the army and fight tooth and nail than to live as a slave.

Sometimes I wonder can it get any worse? Haven't we hit rock bottom already? Isn't it about time to rise up? The current Somali leaders are xoolo, all of them. Kulli waa bakhti. We need a Somali leader with a backbone, with dhiig, with principles but the current bunch nacalada masakiinta wada saaran.
