You know I visited my family in Qatar not too long ago, and I don't speak Arabic, so this Arab elder was telling me how I "as an Arab" must retain my culture, and how Arabs are losing it in the West. What made it worse was that it was my second cousin translating what he was saying to me and he was nodding and agreeing with him the whole way through.
