There was a kingdom called Sam’al in ancient turkey, the language they spoke was called samalian and that was what the people were called too. Eventually it was taken over by the Neo-Assyrian empire. Coincidence :cosbyhmm: what do you think? Who are these high IQ imposters:wtf:

Its just a coincidence they have a similar name. No relation.

This thread may delude some idiots into thinking they originated from Turkey/Anatolia & start claiming they're the Original Turks/Anatolians. The Turks may now have their own Black bunch trying to steal their history/heritage. :damn::damn:

Why’s he kissing the flag like he’s making love :susp:

They spoke samalian. It's a semitic language. Unless Somali is in that language category and our people aren't Cushitic, then I don't believe there to be any relation.

Its possible to have similar names despite any contact/connection. They have nothing to do with each other.

The etymology of the name is is believed to meaning "west" from the the semetic root "s-m-l" the name sounds different if you give attention to the ( ' ) in sam'al, it has the same sound in somali like go'an "decision". So samale/soomaal and sam'al sound different from each other.
