Lefeisa town near Jinacsaney has raised the Oromia flag.
A section of the Gudabursi Dir community chooses to side with the Oromos.

At this rate the Somali clans will all become Oromos within the next 60 years :hemad:

Why don't the Dir, Garhajis and other big non Darood clans come together in Ethiopia then plan
to have their own mamuul goboleed within Ethiopia separate from K5. That is how USC-SNM
alliance originally started.

Abdi Iley wont last long. His days are numbered.

The other Somali clans will come together.

@Bohol

That fat bastard has alienated all Somalis except for his small subclan.

So far, the karanle have always lived in/near the Oromia Zone, same goes for a huge chunk of the Gurgure and Akisho. Only one subclan of the Gudabursi which live in Lefeisa have declared themselves to be part of Oromia. But the other subclans are against that move.

But things are about to explode in Hararghe region.

@NourUgaas so how many former k5 communities now joined Oromia state?

Sheikhaash
Karanle
Gadabursi
Gurgure
Jaarso
Akisho

etc

A random facebook post doesn't count as evidence. Samaroon have the third most senior post in K5 after Ogaden and Ciise so I doubt they are all anti-Iley.

Sheekhash haven't joined the Oromo; nor have all the Karanle, Jarso or Akisho/Gurre. The Gurre have three districts of their own in Southern K5, both Somali ministers in the Ethiopian Cabinet are Gurre.

As for creating an anti-Iley front, fat chance of that happening. Not every clan in K5 has beef with him. The Garre are eating good, example.

The vast majority of Gudabursi support Iley and have organised counter protests all this week against the declaration made in Lefeisa.

But you cannot deny the Oromisation of Somalis in Ethiopia.

@anonimo I think your talking about a different Gurre. Gurgure are a group that inhabits Dire Dhaba and former western areas of k5 that were seceded to Oromia including Jinicsaney which is just outside Jigjiga yet it is part of Oromia due to the Jaarso and Akisho voting that way in the last referendum.

I don't think you understand that Abdi Iley has control over the Somali region because the Tigray empowere him. Unless you want to fight against the TPLF(you will be defeated), then Abdi Iley isn't going anywhere. He's been doing a fantastic job in the eyes of the regime.

Look at how they defend iley and come with their propaganda. There is no ogadenia there will be a new leader eventually and he might even be gadabursi they’ve held the position of president of ddsi before why would they be content playing second fiddle.

SM and Gx need to make an Ethiopian-Isaaq organization that will hopefully be funded by SL govt but also wealthy HA and Gx individuals. It should be a political and not a military organization.

Bohol, no offence but you got it all wrong.

The Gurgura do not live anywhere near Jinacsani, that is Jarso territory. Only a section of the Jarso voted to join the Oromo State.

Secondly, Gurre is the other name for Akisho. Your understanding of Akishos is based on those that live in Northern K5 and the few Reers that inhabit the Gabiley area.

Somali speaking Akishos/Gurres did not vote to join the Oromo state; the Oromo Oborra ones were already part of the Oromo Zone and votes never took place where they live.

Isaaq must play Ethiopian politics.I personally come from an Ethiopian Isaaq family on both my HA and CG side.It is in our best interest to extend our influece with even the Oromos and Amharas

@anonimo I was talking about the Akisho and Jaarsos of Jigjiga zone. As you can see the
landmass of Jigjiga zone is getting smaller and smaller year by year (due to the communities there switching to Oromia state). Soon Oromia state and Somalia will have their first border at this rate lol.
