A interesting ethnic group in Madagascar that supposedly has Muslim origins. Lots of sources online idicate that their muslim ancestors were either hejazi or swahili lakiin I've also seen some people claiming they were Somali. I found this interesting because I remember awhile back looking over the Haplogroup T wikipedia page & seeing a Madagascar ethnic group scoring high percentages. Out of curiosity, I went back. This is what I found:

now this got me wondering. I also recalled @killerxsmoke on this sub forum discussing 16th century retelling of the kings of Somalia (Adal & Ajuuran) sending a expedition to Madagascar & eventually occupying it for sometime. Could these people be the remnants of the Somali invasion force? Wondering if anyone here has seen what their subclade of T-M184 is?
