I disagree with the notion they must find Black Muslim academics, this isn't affirmative action and also that Somalis are black. Unless of course you aren't Somali. Why should I be personally offended when I'm not a black?

Wallahi it's sad. Despite the fact that we Somalis make up a large Muslim population in Britain and being some of the earliest Muslims in the country, there is no representation. Many people on here think that because we have softer hair and slimmer nose we are somehow special and superior to other Black muslims, well clearly not special enough to be given fair representation.
