If you're in London I highly recommend waiting till March of next year, wizz air will do much cheaper direct flights from Gatwick to jeddah then.

Try violent hotel, it's quite affordable, facing masjid qatari and opposite on the road you can take a bus to the haram free of charge or pay 15 riyal a taxi. it's in azizayah, if you need tailored thobes or goods make sure you get it in azziaayh if you're buying stuff in makkah also note that the food near the haram is disgusting unless its fast food from the clock tower or jabal umar, there's good food in that neighbourhood. Try romansiah or raydan if you want good clean food and make sure not to eat at safwa towers makkah if you care about your health.
