Im fine with traveling I don't have kids or wifes so
Im new to the certificate business I was told to get in to security +
So can someone get a job on certificate and experience alone or do you need degree like all the other jobs

I was trying to find this thread, I didn't realize it was moved. Anyway, I would recommend the Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA Security) Certification as it would give you opportunities.

I.T. certificates are good when paired with experience/degree. The certificates alone won't do you any good, which is why you have to network and gain experience and preferably a degree before you can find any solid opportunities.

Got A plus certificate and moving up the ladder with a network in the near future.
