My hair is soft but it's not loose, I have kind of a mini fro,

I've met very few Somalis with 4c hair.

But it seems as if timo adag somalis have hair that lasts longer, while the timo jileec mfs go bald at 30.

It seems as if I am doomed

A big forehead can be hidden if you have soft hair because you can do a comb over or a fringe. If you have fuzzy/hard hair, your hair grows upwards only, so you can't hide a big forehead.
