So I wrote down this long comment on anothe thread recently and it was so long I decided to add a little bit onto it and Make it its own thread, so here it is:
First of all, nobody can make me identify with being black since I do not acknowledge its existence. We are very clearly different to other blacks so why suck it up to them to let them accept us?
I remember in school the west African/Caribbean kids used to tell me somalis are not black and so on and eventually I just said f*ck it, I'm not gonna spend all day arguing with these people to let me be apart of their community when I am clearly an ajnabi to them.
And I'm not gonna be moving like North africans arguing whether or not they are Arabs because I have the pride of a nomad with 7 wives.
Instead, I only identfiy with horn africans as we actually share history and genetics and some even language. This is an actual identity since it it built on common attributes between groups of people rather than skin colour which has no reason to exist other than European colonialists said so.
Furthermore, I do not like many African nations, if you have seen my other posts taking about how I wanna colonise bantus in East Africa, I was not joking.
These supposedly "Felllow black nations" have done nothing but occupy our land and abuse our people of the word of the white man whilst claiming VictimHood when we rightfully retaliate.
It is also no secret that the bantu nations have a disdain for us seeing how they migrated and genocided southern Cushites who originally inhabited the lands and tanzania currently has a "native American" styled reservation for the Iraqw tribe which is the last southern cushitic tribe left and is a cousin to the Horners. In short, there is no "Black solidarity" it is all a myth, especially for people like us who some of them call "Arab Rape Babies"
In short, I consider the rest of Africa excluding the horn, to be a threat to us. Yeah I know about Ethiopia and the atrocities they have committed, but I would rather fight an enemy that the somalis have known for a thousand years than these foreign dogs who disguise themselves as Brothers only to carve our nstion up at a moments notice.
I believe we can sort out the Ethiopian issue if only somalis moved as a unified entity like all the other ethnicities in the horn, heck the oromo's see divided between 2 religions yet they have more cohesion than us somalis who are homogeneous. If we manage to become a cohesive unit, it is almost certain that somalis will dominate the region and could even gain enough power the unite the horn of Africa, although I would much rather let all ethnicitied in such a union to have a say because we somalis don't move like amhara supremecists.
Sorry for getting a little of topic but to add on to the previous point, black is an identity built not by the supposed "Black people" but by racist European colonialists who enslaved and tormented Africa for centuries. It is for this reason that I strongly oppose any somali or hell, any african, with calling themselves black as it is a foreign concept made by white people that does not take in to consideration the diversity within this continent which is why many people think all africans are the same because we are just a "continent full of blacks"
In Conclusion , i consider most of Africa to be an enemy to the horn and I also believe that somalis need to not fall into the delusion of this false "Black brotherhood" as many somalis may see this as a tight community and start giving their time towards people who do not care for them due to the fact that somalis are a naturally collective society which is not true for Black/Western society which will take advantage of such kindness and squeeze you dry.
I don't just belive that I am not black, I don't acknowledge the "Black Identity" since it does not unite people based of similar language or culture heck even genetics, but is simply a tool made by Europeans, for the benefit of Europeans.
Somalis need to focus on rebuilding their broken nation and stop getting involved with these silly things ajnabis argue about.
However, I am not stupid and realise that building a larger identity that comprises of various different ethnicities under common attributes is a very benefitial thing so I'd say we focus on connecting the Horn of Africa together through trade and ideas we can industrialise our region and gain the power to assert ourselves on the world stage and not be victims to foreign corporations.
Edit: To add on to my previous statements I'd like to also mention that my biggest problem with the idea of black people is that it is has no basis in reality and does not include a shared language or culture.
This makes the Black identity very weak which by extension makes the Black Community loose and weak.
The white people is another weird crayon identity invented by Europeans however, this has more a basis in reality as Europeans have little diversity and have a shared history and civilisation unlike Africa which was a large and diverse continent in basically every way which meant the people from one end of the continent would have nothing in common with people in the other end.
