My parents told me that I would constantly be moving around as a kid. At ages 4-6, I would sneak out and walk 2-5 miles out by myself and would explore the world. I catch myself moving around right now. I see this a lot in Somalis. What are your personal experiences?

I often dream of being free, free to wander around the savanah. Being a nomad going on epic adventures sounded especially enticing to me when I was younger. The western lifestyle we live now is very recent, and for a large chunk of human history we have been nomads. I think that’s probably why. Adaptation doesn’t happen overnight.

In the ideal world, I’d travel the world. Living in different places every year. Learning about the different cultures and languages, etc. But alas, money I would use to fund this does not grow out of the ground, nor does it grow on trees. Yes I was always an explore. Always wanted to be free. This may be nomadic genes activating but I'm a natural explorer who happens to enjoy the thought of living around the world. Yes I agree with you a lot as I can relate
