I have studied Somaliland since their election and I have learned the history and the internal problems. I know how to solve their problems due to my high IQ.

I think politically it was a good deal because it gives Somaliland more autonomy and another bargaining chip against Mogadishu from whom it seeks independence. Financially the deal may prove a disadvantage for Somaliland because there's no guarantee that they will hire local workers. DP World is known to employ cheap and experienced labor force from South Asia as it does in its other ports. However on a macro scale it can be a benefit if Somaliland is also able to renovate the road the leads to the Ethiopian border which will allow trade to flourish. How do you reason the DP world deal? Why would SL get a minority stake in their own national asset? How do you justify giving 19% shares to your customer under the pretense of incentifying their use of the port?
Leave my thread, troll.Don't trust this guy, anything about Somaliland would be biased through the eyes.
This guy is part of Farmaajo's Army of Trolls to target any news about Somaliland and try to re write history in their favour and paint Somaliland in a bad light
Jeegaanta is an unholy alliance of smaller tribes compared to reer wadani which is more or less a singular tribe. Due to their martial culture, reer wadani occupied a larger land and were therefore able to raise more livestock. That made them the predominant tribe in the region. Due to that historic fact, jeegaanta have formed an alliance since the Somaliland Civil War of the 1990s and Somaliland descended into tribal politics to prevent reer wadani from getting into power. According to the Somaliland Development Fund only 10% of the development budget goes to Sool and Sanaag. Why do jeeganta have so much animosity towards reer wadani why don’t they fear reer wadanis leadership.
Somaliland should can catch up to Puntland with respect of educational attainment, household income and child poverty before thinking about space programs. How is Somaliland's space program coming along? Will they get a rocket into space like Puntland?
Is that so Mr Nur mujahidSomaliland should can catch up to Puntland with respect of educational attainment, household income and child poverty before thinking about space programs.
Why do landers want to secede from their fellow Somalis when it's unislamic the Lord of the heavens and the earth talks about the power of unity in al islam so how could they separate divide the somali nation and weaken it And take in consideration the position our motherland is located 1 of the most strategic in the world ✌I have studied Somaliland since their election and I have learned the history and the internal problems. @Yonis gave you a good answer. How is Somaliland's space program coming along? Will they get a rocket into space like Puntland?
There are many reasons. One is a position of neglect, Somalilanders believe they were entitled to more due to being a country for 4 and a half days. The union with Somalia pushed Somaliland tribes to the back of the queue due to the power being centred in Mogadishu. They believe then and now that they are equal to Italian Somaliland as they are British Somaliland. Why do landers want to secede from their fellow Somalis when it's unislamic the Lord of the heavens and the earth talks about the power of unity in al islam so how could they separate divide the somali nation and weaken it And take in consideration the position our motherland is located 1 of the most strategic in the world ✌
Let me entertain this then.
Would Somaliland not do better as a separate state? Be honest none of that biased talk. If you don't think so, state why.
What would we gain from reuniting with Somalia? Now compare that to what we could possibly gain if we were fully recognized as a sovereign state?
Which one is better?
And if that is difficult for you, answer the questions hypothetically.
I personally think we would take several steps backwards if we did reunite with Somalia .
Can't yall think for yourself's , or have you not done any research on somaliland and know only what you hear in the propoganda media and silly SL haters online . Go do some indept research about somaliland if you care to , asking the odd question here and there's won't explain the complex situation.I want the answer to the opposite question, what do you gain from seceding?
Will you suddenly get richer?
The only benefit is autonomy, besides i think you will remain poor just like the rest.
