I am just fascinated by all of this. The NEC have literally made a hash of the whole thing, lakiin wali way is adkaynayaan, and not once have they mentioned the slightest of errors.

Sxb they are only s and are by no means beyond reproach, both the Gov which is Kulmiye and the NEC themselves were hell bent on to undermine WADDANI's chances wherever possible.. This was never a fair election. No Incumbent party and Gov in Africa loses an election to the opposition that easily!
Is it true what one of the odays said, that in 2010 election it was the Guurti that made the announcement after the NEC messed it up?

Nah in 2010 Dahir Riyaale accepted it because there was no cheating, it was more fair election than this.
People thought UDUB was bad but Kulmiye is 100x more corrupt.
Who appointed these NEC guys? Silanyo?

Thats the thing, its Gov appointed and apparently along party/clan lines. They are by no means immune to to nepotism and qabyaalad bias which is so rive in Hargeisa.
Bohol, the game is up for your anti-state elements. You and those who share your mentality will not ruin the project of Somaliland.
Sxb, somalis iyo democracy cant work especially when u have parties based on qabil instead of ideology. In this case, the qabils who fought each other forming coalitions
They won't really have a case for sovereignty anymore if they keep this up.

Are you so blinded by qabyaalad and indho-adaygnimo, that you guys are unable to post one comment that acknowledges and considers the legitimate points and grievances people back home have made.
It's in fact people like you who will ruin Somaliland in the long run, by treating this election and the whole country as a bloody hagbad and a lottery ticket.
How's anyone expected to feel a sense of ownership, being part of this project when your antics are so provocative. Xin iyo xaasidnimo iyo faan iyo ""Unukaa iska leh" and the extremely childish blasphemous ways of treating Ina Biix as Mesiah while fast swathes of the country sees him as a divisive figure with questionable morals and background, will eventually be the ultimate downfall of Somaliland.
walaahibaan ku dhaartee mark my words. Muuse Biixi Cabdi will be the last straw that broke the shankaroon camels back.

Let me explain to you things how I see them.
1. It's unfair HY are economically disadvantaged in the current situation. This is due to a range of reasons, many of which predate the creation of Somalia itself. We need to invest in the east to create balance.
2. The election was fair.
3. Musa will be judged on the basis of what he does and needs to be given time.
4. Somaliland is moving into a new phase. With Harti now holding the interior ministry and speakership we have a chance to go beyond the current situation. SM, as the wealthiest sub clan, have a good chance to help integrate all disenfranchised groups as we can accept making sacrifices. I genuinely believe that we do not look at the kursi as a meal ticket, and if you knew Muse you would know that his sub clan is not in his inner circle. I believe many of you would be surprised.
5. Arap, CG, Harti and all other groups have spoken out against the incitement. Even many in HY are disappointed with the lack of judgment displayed by Irro. We need to work together to make it work. We will have the chair for a few years then it will go to someone else. It doesn't matter who has the chair but what policies are pursued, and what people choose to do in civil society and the private sector.
Wrong. The head of the commission was chosen by the commissioners, who were themselves selected from Guurti, Opposition and Sillanyo.

kkk so Silanyo is not Kulmiye? the head of commission was chosen by Kulmiye that is a fact and the other members by WADANI and UCID.
Semantics then - the commissioner who is now head was chosen by Kulmiye. But he was chosen to be the head of the commission by the commissioners, not by Kulmiye. Slight but significant difference.
