Didn't you see Muse Bixi's welcome in Borama. There's no support for Awdal state except online lol. And supporting SSC would just mean that every sub sub clan and can hold up one town and couple villages and request be a state. They can't even control the 'member states' that exist now.
Those that 'welcomed' Bixi to Borama were mainly school children in uniform pressured to do a stunt. The rest were Shaqaalo.

OP: this awdal state stuff isn’t realistic, east side of north is different because everyone there has no desire to split, but if the general sentiment in awdal is to remain a part of SL, then what’s the point.
Puntland is an exceptional story from the bottom up they developed cities and towns from scratch, I mean most of the region was behind galmudug and hirshabelle in the early 90s and is among the leading regions today.
