Lol The library thing is absolutely true! Wouldn’t be surprised if the Greeks borrowed a ton from Egypt that’s not credited.Maybe it depends on the person but I've noticed the opposite. If you're a good speaker at Somali it's actually easier to say a lot with very few words. You notice this to an extreme degree with Somali poetry. English is more wordy. I remember a linguist friend pointing out that this is often the thing with Afro-Asiatic and Indo-European in that IE is generally more wordy whereas many AA languages like Ancient Egyptian are somewhat "vague" and can say a lot with very few words. He then joked that if the library of Alexandria hadn't been burned down the ancient Egyptians would've likely made the ancient Greeks look like mental midgets.
