@Ferrari If Mareexaan do end up getting control of Kismaayo (aka Jubbaland), is that the end to Somalia's current form of Federalism (the MJ way)?
It seems that Kismaayo is the key, and whoever owns Kismaayo owns JL. So if Mareexaan do gain control, will Centralism follow considering that Galmudug is a No-show, Konfuur Galbeed currently has a governor loyal to the SFG. So that would be 3/4 federal states being actually loyal to the SFG in Xamar, so only PL would be left pushing for Federalism.

Damn how long has this "battle for Kismaayo" between Mareexaans and Ogaadeens been going on? You said Hawiye (Cayr right?) brought them in, but from where because Gedo ain't that far.
According to you "They [The MX] can't survive there on their own." but neither could the Harti, wasn't it a few months back that Cowramaleh attacked them over some ground around kismaayo? So all Farmaajo has to do is to install an Ogaadeen man who is loyal to him and the SFG, and who the people of kismaayo are pleased with, someone who could work with the people in the interior (Gedo and them areas) and boom that's his solution. <--- However that's too idealistic, and I'm assuming the people in Kismaayo (The OG's especially) won't allow for some ass licker to the SFG to be the president of JL.
I won't lie I kind of want to see what Farmaajo's plan is for JL and how he will go about "liberating" it, but all this politics is stunting the growth of an amazing city.
