I never said SL could or couldn’t close the border! I am military guy I don’t make preemptive statements without definitive proof. Military speaking, I do not see overwhelming force one way or another. It all depends who wants it more and thus far, SL does.

My suggestion was, before you rudely, interjected My clan into the topic, was that SL should try to “close the borders” once and for all, whether they would succeed or failed is a whole another issue. It seems to me every time SL gears towards battle, IGAD pulls their ear and like good little puppies they sit and role. I suggested that is not a good way to earn respect in this corner of Africa. Edit: and at no point was Puntland close to Ainabo. If I remember correctly, The furthest PL was near Adhicadeeye. That is where both militias were stationed before Las Anod Fell.

Buhoodle is completely different case. Like I said they did put up heck of a fight, but SL did capture all battle positions, only Buhoodle remained. I think it was decision from SL hierarchy that they decided not to move into Buhoodle as the citizens would be hostile. They want to gradually convince rer Buhoolde and bring them in, like Las Anod.
