Currently, Tokyo is the most populous city in the world with 37 million people, and experts predict that in 70 years, Mogadishu will have 36 million, while Tokyo's population will dwindle down to 7 million in 70 years.

meanwhile, the current 2nd most populous city, NYC, will be stagnant with 22m.

Lagos, Nigeria and Kinshasa, DRC will explode with a population of 88 and 83 respectively.

Now back to Mogadishu, with 36m people to come it is time to plan ahead and move the capital to a different location. I’d say star from scratch and built a city to accommodate. I’d say this new capital city should be between Kismaayo and Merca.
With the coming of oil and gas this should make it easy for a new capital city. Then again we just can’t settle our differences. Peace remains elusive.

Never thought about it, I have been there for a month each time I went there and I went there in 2013 and 2022. My mom told me that these trucks empty the cesspits and throw it out outside the city and I did a quick google search. I thought we had landfills for trash but they throw that out in the sea. I thought those damn trucks with those horrible horn sounds would go to the landfills to throw the trash but they throw it at xeebta jasiira.
