Balcad - Jowhar road construction gets underway

Balcad to Jowhar road construction is to get underway which is twice as far as both Afgooye and Balcad - Muqdisho. 60km or so.

The qataris had a 3 phase plan apparently with Balcad - Jowhar being the final phase.

The people of Muqdisho and the 2 shabelles are more than thankful

Still within Balcad district but the work being done seems much more extensive compared to Afgooye road.

They're hasn't been a single incident involving car bombs, ieds or attacks on the turkish engineers compared to Afgooye where many died.
