Bani Israel tribe in Senegal claims Somalia

They are Senegalese Muslims from the Sylla & Drame clans. They claim that they’re descendants of Egyptians who went to Somalia & then migrated to Nigeria. They then split to Mali, Guinea and Senegal.

They don’t want Israeli citizenship & refuse to intermarry to other tribes other than theirs.

is there anything in our history that backs up their claims that they went to Somalia & migrated out?

Historical? No.

But ever since the Somali uncle was unleashed on the world in the 1990s, you'd be surprised how far the product of his loins has reached.
