There was a madow twitter account that claimed Mogadishu and whole banadir/southern Somalia as bantu swahili civilisation as well and was beefing Somali twitter a few weeks back. Now it's gone onto Wikipedia.

This is funny when you realize that the Chinese made a mythological creature based on giraffe. The creature is called Qilin, which is derived from the Somali Geri.
