And align with who? The African gaajo league of clowns? No thank you. In today's world a little fish like Somalia must be aligned with someone, at least until it becomes a big fish. That doesn't mean we become a total puppet of them, but at least on some issues we should tow the line. The Arab League and the GCC are western aligned, best to go with them to avoid getting fucked in the ass.

And btw when I say they take African shit seriously I legit wasn't playing.

They're basically an arbitrator for the whole continent atm. They pretty much sign half a dozen business and climate related agreements in every nation they go to. I don't like stigmatizing the only country outside of maybe Nigeria and Ethiopia that genuinely takes the protection of resources seriously.

Sure the people there act a fool from time to time, but their leadership somewhat cares about poor nations.

99% of our livestock exports go to Arab nations, and livestock is the majority of the Somalia GDP.

I could list a billion things Arabs have given us or paid us. Everything from dams to orphanages to hospitals to military training centers to military equipment to keeping our politicans pockets fat.
