If he’s as corrupt as they say he is, could have easily put this money into an escrow and bought a property to meet residency requirements in many onshore tax havens like Uruguay, Moldova, and even Hong Kong.

The future won’t be kind to refugees—it will welcome economic refugees who bring large sums of capital and invest in countries who have specific capital requirements e.i, purchase property or transfer business banking.

My concern is that if Turkey wants to help Somalia then they should also help Somalis who meet thier investment requirements to become citizens of Turkey. The Somali passport is crippling many entrepreneurs in Somalia who need to travel and get access to resources and suppliers from around the world.

I see where @Rieko is coming from, if you start issuing passports without controls in place like Visas for schooling, buying supplies from China or going to Haj, then it’s will be abused.
