America could’ve done this decades ago. They still can.
I would recommend America to do a few things if they are serious about keeping their world currency reserve status for another century and also compete economically with China.
1. More security pacts. A NATO for Africa and Asia.
2. Belt and Road type initiatives that would contribute to more consumption of American goods/services. For example better interest services across Africa. Suddenly Africa will become a big consumer of Amazon, Microsoft software/services.
3. Higher immigration. This is something China can never compete with. Somali Americans can become for example a massive advantage. You will easily have potential Somali government officials full of them that will seek closer relations with America because of this. America can also increase their population to 700-1bn thereby able to compete with the 1.4bn Chinese.
4. Universal education and health care services. America can create an education platform that any foreign country can sign up to. Accompany this with branches of American Universities in Africa for example
5. Turn the dollar into a currency union. You can have for example a country like Somalia be allocated printed dollars.
6. Have all manufactured goods by American companies in China moved to countries where you have this security, education and currency union with. America will have cheap labour and also deprive China off crucial export industries and thereby dollars.
7. Lastly a free trade deal that locks out China. Obama was set to sign that with the TPP but traitorous far left and far right claimed it would get rid of America’s factories to other parts of the world. Well now America has lost those factories anyway but to China
