I can't speak for all Levantines but in the past there was good amount of Somalis in Syria, and they were def well liked in the country. The fact is most countries where Somalis go outside of some parts of the west they are respected and revered far more than other ethnicities in the region

As a Muslim seeing other Muslims being oppressed hurts like what's happening in sudan UAE are funding Arab militas to kill innocent civilians or the genocide in gaza. Majority if not all are foreigners, yes there are some decent people who are tryna make a living but most of them are just begging on the streets or joining daesh and this is something we need to deal with

The people who join these groups are already radicalized from afar and then come to Somalia.

These Syrians are not radicalized to join daesh or they would've stayed in Syria and fought for the main branch over there.
