Boocame Solar Powered Water Wells. WTF

Still don't know what to make of this. Solar powered water well!!!! only reason I posted this unusual development news because it's not your average well that is dug, it's a solar based well and not sure how that works with sun energy transferring that energy into motion and power to keep under-ground water flowing. Anyone knows how this works? Solar powered water wells is something damn new too me. I thought Solar was mainly used for power and energy needs not water needs.

Could it be the power from the solar actually powers the bucket and rope to actually draw the water and save someone's energy. Who knows?

I think they are simply using these solar powered pumps instead of diesel ones to pump up water from already existing wells.

Oh so their using it for the motor rather then fueling the motor with oil their replaced it with solar, is that what you mean?
