I am not sure that was the case.

Bot Cirro & Biixi had a lot of genuine support in Awdal - However the supporters were from different clan communities.

First of all, there are NO HA deegaans in Awdal...

Secondly, most of the projects you have mentioned can only be accredited to Silaanyo which will be his legacy. We shall see how Kulmiye under Muse operates.

The clan road of Dawga Cad which have been started to divert the lucrative economic trade and traffic from Borama/Awdal, is not even feasible for there are great natural obstacles, like the great water ways from the Guban mountain ranges., yet somehow, beeshs HA have wasted millions on it. In the rainy season, its literally a death trap... fascinating walee!

I consider Cabdi Geedi and Ceel Sheekh to be HA deegaans - I know they are close to the Awdal/Maroodi Jeex border.
I was under the assumption they fell on the Awdal side. I could be wrong.

Equally you, yourself could consider these deegaans to be non-HA. That is your opinion and you are entitled to it. I hold NO strong opinions on where internal borders should go through.

You see Dawga Cad from a clan-lens. That may well be true. However I do not think the purpose of the road was to deprive Borama of trade. It was to connect Djibouti with Hargeysa (Where a significant community of SM reside) for trade purposes and to benefit the neglected deegaans of North Maroodi Jeex.

However I do agree with you it was non-viable. It has been nearly 5 years and only 5 km has been paved. And from what I hear it is only possible to get to the coast - The terrain is not good for road building once you are at the coast.

With our limited resources it would be crazy to try.
