Its the most populous city in Puntland, yet its organizational capacity is absolutely abysmal. Overgrown and unplanned settlements are sprung up all throughout the city, And proper zoning is virtually non existent.

But that's not to say its all bad, Work is being done to return the city to its rightful place.
An expansion and renovation of Bosasso port is currently underway, With DP world at the head of the project

In addition to that a new master plan has been unveiled by President Deni, to build 19 roads, spanning some 56 kilometers.

all of these buildings on the perimeter of the beach need to be teared down and pushed back.

The government has found the guts to knock down illegal homes that block roads. That's major progress believe it or not.

Somalis have a odd attraction to constructing buildings too close to the beach. Look at lido beach in xamar and it also suffers with the same problem. Kismaayo is a bit better imo

Bosasso need’s trees and proper building infrastructure and bring back the renewable solar project that Faroole signed off on years ago or has it already been completed? Bosasso is sitting on a pinnacle of becoming a great get away destination with its peaceful atmosphere.

These basic fundamentals can easily be achievable within a year at best.

I have been to Bossaso and Berbera and one thing i can say is im glad i dont live there, the heat during the summer seasons is too much, feels like im in Kuwait or something.
