Very good news. Hopefully a good amount of terrorists got smoked
They should not feel safe anywhere, whether in their strongholds, or deep in a jungle somewhere.
This wasn't a self-defence strike so they must have been targeting the recent high profile meeting
It was an airstreak followed by a raid from the special forces.
Raids are more effective than drones. Americans should come down and fight al shabab on the ground more often as these terrorists are using civilians as human shields.
Sometimes they accompany the special forces units carrying out the raid and they also provide transportation to the Somali special forces (helicopters).

He had the chance to take over many times
Mahad is not stupid he knows he has higher risks of being killed if he becomes a leader
He would rather control Amniyat " Alshabaab's NISA"
He would rather be part of the group who plans attacks
He knows that if he becomes the main Leader, he will lose control
He will also have a higher chance of being targeted by other clans in the area who feel misrepresented in ALshabaab
Mahad is very smart and wants the background role.
