From the videos i saw no israeli military installations were hit. So what was the point of this attack. This attack is nothing but a face saving operation for iran.

Of course barely any damage was done it's all a show on irans part.
The Iranians will certainly regret this if it was done to save face and with the intention of not inflicting severe damage on any of Israel's strategic sites. Now, Israel has the perfect excuse to fulfill their goal of striking Iran's nuclear facilities. The question is whether they will go that far or be forced to settle for something less.
